Occident

Occident was formed by the merger of Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros and Seguros Bilbao. NorteHispana Seguros will soon form part of the group. With a strongly established presence, it is one of the leaders in the Spanish insurance sector: with over 14,000 mediators, nearly 1,300 offices and 2,700 professionals, including experts and assessors, it provides service to over 4.5 million customers. Occident is part of GCO (Grupo Catalana Occidente), and, at the end of 2023, it was the sixth-largest company in the Spanish insurance market and the second-largest in credit insurance worldwide.
