NorteHispana Seguros offers customers hospital care with its death insurance

"The insurer has also included cover for an in-person second medical opinion, thus reinforcing the benefits of this product."

NorteHispana Seguros has added "Advanced hospital care" to its death insurance, a new guarantee that covers one annual hospital stay if you need surgical, paediatric or cancer treatment. In particular, the new coverage includes hospitalisation in a private room, as well as the costs associated with patient stay and meals, tests and diagnostic methods, medication, and treatment in special units. In addition, the new coverage includes, if necessary, preoperative analyses (basic analysis, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram and the anaesthetic pre-assessment), and also the treatments and the first post-surgical outpatient review.

The guarantee "Advanced hospital care" is available for insured persons who have previously taken out the coverage of "Premium Second Opinion" on their policy. Specifically, NorteHispana Seguros has added three new pathologies to this coverage of second medical opinion, such as orthopaedic surgery and traumatology; digestive disorders, and neurology for the following diseases: Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, stroke and multiple sclerosis.

Furthermore, with the aim of providing the best service to customers, the insurer has introduced a new feature to ensure that the death insurance rates remain stable from retirement age and do not vary for users over 67 years old.

The new guarantees are added to the wide range of coverage of the death insurance product of NorteHispana Seguros, including national and international transfers in the event of the death of the insured person, telephone medical guidance, drafting and management of wills, telephone legal advice, or the care of digital legacy, that is, services ranging from the analysis of the presence and reputation on the Internet, to how the insured person decides to say goodbye on their social networks.

Technical director at NorteHispana Seguros, Joan Miquel Cervera, explained that "we continue to work to make our death insurance as complete and attractive as possible for our customers."
