Fundación Jesús Serra organizes the 3rd edition of the Xpress Tennis Cup, which will now reach the Community of Madrid and the Valencian Community

Fundación Jesús Serra, of Grupo Catalana Occidente, and the sports equipment company Wilson have launched the 3rd edition of the Xpress Tennis Cup, a sports project whose objective is to promote basic tennis. In particular, the championship is aimed at boys and girls, between the ages of 5 and 12, who are part of a tennis club.

As a novelty this year, the tournament will have a total of three different circuits (Catalonia, Community of Madrid and Valencian Community) in which boys and girls will represent their respective clubs by teams in the innovative 20-minute match format. It is expected that this edition will involve more than 2,500 players and 270 teams from tennis clubs in the three autonomous communities.

From March to June

Xpress Tennis Cup will be held between the months of March and June. The winning teams of each provincial phase of the different categories (sub-10 and sub-12, both female and male) will participate in the grand final that will take place in the capital of each autonomous community: Cercle Sabadellès (Barcelona), RACE Sports Complex (Madrid) and Club Español de Tenis (Valencia).

In addition, around the tournament, activities will be carried out with the aim of promoting the values of sport, teamwork and solidarity among younger people. Participants can also enjoy the wheelchair tennis exhibition of the best players in the country.

Registration is free, and the finalist and winning teams, both of the provincial phases and the final of each community, will receive Wilson sports equipment.
