Seguros Bilbao maintains its commitment to the Getxo Charity Race

Seguros Bilbao sponsors the Getxo Charity Family Race for another year. Thanks to this agreement, the Grupo Catalana Occidente company reiterates its support for an initiative that this year is celebrating its 9th edition, supporting charitable causes.

The event took place on Sunday, 9 October, and was attended by more than 800 people. The fun annual race aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and values linked to sport, such as self-improvement and effort.

On this occasion, the funds raised were earmarked for Zabalketa, a local NGO for raising awareness and education for social transformation. Its main objective is to help foster social justice across the world, through the inclusive and sustainable transformation of development paradigms and models.

Seguros Bilbao's Assistant General Manager for Sales, José Manuel Ereño, highlighted the implementation of these types of initiatives that "stand out for their charitable and healthy values". "For Seguros Bilbao, it is an honour to be part of this charity race that reflects the values of altruism and self-improvement", he added.

The Getxo Charity Family Race is a sporting event that is characterised by not having classifications and being held in groups of between 2 and 10 people. Also, during the day participants were able to enjoy different activities for all audiences.
