Grupo Catalana Occidente completes the rollout of its leasing offer

Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros and Seguros Bilbao complete the rollout of the Grupo Catalana Occidente leasing proposal. This is a highly successful demanded offer that Seguros Catalana Occidente began marketing in 2020 and that the insurance group has been gradually expanding since then.

Grupo Catalana Occidente has also improved the offer by extending it to legal entities, such as self-employed workers and SMEs. In this way, when taking out the insurance, the customer, whether a natural or legal person, can choose between several models of Utility, SUV, Premium and Commercial range of vehicles, depending on availability. In addition to the different models, which are renewed periodically, the insured person can also choose between the options for without or with excess (€150); different contracting periods (3, 4 or 5 years) and annual kilometres (10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 km).   

The insurance group's leasing proposal also includes, according to availability, hybrid and electric models, in a clear commitment to sustainable mobility. All vehicles are new and noted for incorporating cutting-edge sustainability and technology features. This comprehensive insurance also covers travel assistance and a courtesy vehicle when repairing the vehicle at the AutoPresto network of garages, and offers different types of contract.

Growth in the leasing sector

According to the latest data offered by the Spanish Association of Vehicle Leasing, at the close of 2022, vehicle registrations registered by the leasing companies reached 254,948 units. The weight of this type, meanwhile, represents 26.6% of the total number of registrations in the year, with a marked upward trend.
