Grupo Catalana Occidente offers a special service for those affected by the floods

"The insurance Group, through its companies Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros, Seguros Bilbao and NorteHispana Seguros, has set up a helpline to provide advice and information to its customers after the floods in the region of Valencia"

Grupo Catalana Occidente has set up a storm and flood customer care service.

A special telephone service has been set up to receive calls from affected customers:

- Seguros Catalana Occidente customers can call us on 932 220 212.

- Plus Ultra Seguros customers can call us on 917 838 383.

- Seguros Bilbao customers can call us on 946 421 241.

- NorteHispana Seguros customers can call us on 935 126 111.

We also remind our customers that they can contact their agent or insurance broker who will provide support and guidance on procedures when dealing with this or other weather-related phenomena.

Grupo Catalana Occidente has reinforced its network of insurance adjusters to evaluate and assess the damage caused by the heavy rainfall in order to help speed up the claims service.

Loss covered by the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros [Insurance Compensation Fund]

The Insurance Compensation Fund (CCS) is the entity that covers extraordinary risks arising from natural or climate phenomena, such as that which recently occurred in the province of Valencia.

The CCS is a public body that is financed by a small amount included in the price of any insurance policy and which is deposited in a guarantee fund destined to cover extraordinary risks among all insured persons in Spain.

Those affected by this type of phenomena can file their insurance claim through the Consortium website: www.consorseguros.es or by calling this company: 900 222 665.
