Grupo Catalana Occidente has launched "Your car for another", a service that offers policyholders of all types of car insurance who have suffered a total loss will have the possibility of choosing between traditional compensation or opting for a used vehicle. The initiative is available now with Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros and Seguros Bilbao. 

Generally speaking, when a car is a total loss, it is most common for the customer to receive financial compensation. Being aware of the drawbacks that this situation can cause, Grupo Catalana Occidente now offers all its car insurance customers an alternative to traditional compensation; you can choose a used car thanks to the launch of "Your car for another" . 

The service is very simple: after the total loss is declared, the customer can choose between two options: financial compensation or the "Your car for another" service. If they choose this option, the customer will receive the available used vehicles, with no obligation, so they can choose which one best suits their needs. 

If you are interested in one of the used vehicles, the company (Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros and Seguros Bilbao) will take care of all the arrangements necessary to remove the damaged car and supply the new vehicle, at no additional cost, so the customer has no worries at all. Furthermore, if the chosen vehicle is higher in value than the damaged car, the customer will be able to pay the difference, and if it is lower in value, the customer will be refunded the difference.

The main advantages of this service include the personalised customer service and advice received by the customer throughout the process; comprehensive management in a single procedure that saves time and travel. 

Similarly, the insured person can replace the old policy for the remaining period and adjust the coverage of the new insurance with their broker, which includes, free of charge, one year of warranty without mileage limit and a first service at the AutoPresto workshop network. In addition, the company will delivers the new vehicle wherever the customer wants, and will remove the remains of the previous one.

Specifically, the idea of "Your car for another" arises from the challenge posed to employees to develop new bespoke services that improve the customer's experience. This solution minimizes the inconvenience of declaring a total loss by providing the customer with the option of finding a used vehicle quickly and easily rather than traditional compensation.
