Renewal of the Fundació Occident programme to support IRBLleida research projects

GCO's Fundació Occident (Programa Fundació Occident IRBLleida) and the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida Fundació Dr. Pifarré (IRBLleida) have renewed their programme to support scientific personnel preparing health research projects for the fourth year. The support programme provides the advice research staff need to present solid projects in all areas.

The programme comprises 8 separate modules designed to provide detailed support for all sections of the proposal, and researchers are free to participate in those modules in which they need assistance. The modules deal with project preparation, biostatistical support, financial support, the data management plan, communication support and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), assessment by external experts, making representations, and the project start-up meeting. 

The aim is to maximise these professionals' chances of success in calls to obtain the resources needed to continue with their research. To date, the programme has given support to more than xx researchers, who have improved their success rates in the presentation of research proposals. The support programme was created in 2019, following an exhaustive analysis by IRBLleida of the results achieved.
