Occident updates its Capital savings insurance and offers a return of 2.8% during the first year

"This is a product specially designed for conservative investors, which includes legal advice and telephone medical advice as courtesy services."

Committed to offering its customers the best conditions, from today until 30 May, or until the scheme is fully subscribed, Occident has renewed its Capital savings insurance, increasing the guaranteed annual return to 2.8%. After the first year, the rate will be reassessed each quarter. In this way, the product adapts to the current situation of the financial market and responds to the savings needs of customers with a conservative profile, who want to obtain returns without putting their investment at risk.

To take out this product, customers need to make a minimum initial investment of €10,000, with an option to make subsequent supplementary contributions of at least €3,000. The product also includes additional guarantees, such as additional capital in the event of the death, amounting to 4% of the accumulated value.

Capital savings allows total or partial redemptions when the contract has been in force for at least three months. Furthermore, there is no penalty for total redemption once nine months have passed.

Daniel Ciprés, Director of Life at Occident, commented that "with this new offer, we show our commitment to offering products suitable for customers who prefer to invest safely”. He also emphasised the crucial role of the network of mediators, who "are essential to detect our customers' needs, ensuring that products are aligned perfectly with their savings goals".

It should be noted that Capital savings includes free legal advice and telephone medical advice, two courtesy services that have been very well received by Occident customers. Through the telephone legal advice service, insured parties can consult a lawyer 24 hours a day, carry out administrative procedures and submit claims for benefits to the Social Security Institute. The telephone medical advice service is available 365 days a year and allows users to contact a health professional by phone or video call.

Savings insurance is marketed through the network of Occident mediators, who will advise customers based on their savings needs and objectives to guide them in the contracting process. The Occident app offers customers a convenient way of checking information regarding the product, including the returns obtained and any movements of funds.

In addition to Capital savings, Occident offers a complete range of savings products suitable for all types of profiles, needs and financial objectives.
