Occident renews as official sponsor of Campus Xavi to promote football training

Occident has announced its official sponsorship for the next three years of Campus Xavi, the renowned football learning campus founded by one of FC Barcelona's historic players, Xavi Hernández, and his father, Joaquín Hernández.

Year after year, Campus Xavi, which held its 26th edition in 2024 with the participation of 620 boys and girls, offers a unique experience for children ages 6 to 15 focused on learning about football and personal development. Participants enjoy technical and tactical training, various sports activities and fundamental values such as respect and companionship. Through this collaboration, Occident not only supports the growth of youth football, but also shares its vision of promoting a healthy and active lifestyle amongst young people.

Xavi Hernández, founder of the campus, expressed his satisfaction with the sponsorship: "We are very excited to once more have the support of Occident. Its constant commitment to sport and the values it promotes fits perfectly with our campus. Together, we will offer an unforgettable experience to all the participants".

For his part, Juan Closa, Managing Director of Occident, noted: “We firmly believe in sport as a tool for personal training and development. This sponsorship allows us to contribute to the growth of future football talent and to promote the fundamental values of this sport, such as teamwork, humility and respect”.

Campus Xavi, which has trained more than 16,000 children over 26 years, has been held in the sports facilities located in Casa de Colonias in El Collell, in Pla de l'Estany county, Girona, which provides an ideal setting for the well-rounded development of young footballers.
