Occident has updated its Capital savings insurance, with guaranteed interest of 2.8% during the first year

"This is a product specially designed for conservative investors, which includes legal advice and telephone medical advice as courtesy services. It can be taken out up to 30 June."

Occident has launched a new issue of its Capital savings insurance, with guaranteed annual interest of 2.8% for the first year. After the end of the first year of the savings insurance contract, which can be taken out up to 30 June or while the asset lasts, a revaluation rate will be applied, which will be fixed quarterly.

Capital savings is a guaranteed savings insurance policy for customers who do not want to take risks in their investments and who want to make savings from time to time. To take out this policy, customers need to make a minimum initial investment of €10,000, but are allowed to make subsequent supplementary contributions of at least €3,000. The product also includes additional capital in the event of the death, amounting to 4% of the accumulated value.

This savings insurance also stands out for its liquidity, since it allows total or partial redemptions when the contract has been in force for at least three months. Furthermore, there is no penalty for total redemption once nine months have passed.

“The previous issues of Capital savings have proved very popular with our more conservative customers, which has led us to update the product by again revising its guaranteed interest rate upwards during the first year,” explained the director of Life at Occident, Daniel Ciprés.

Capital savings is just one of the wide range of Savings products offered by Occident for all types of profiles and preferences. It is sold through the more than 14,000 mediators that form the insurance company's network, who understand the customers' needs and demands and can offer them the best solutions for their savings goals.

As bonus services, the product offers the insured party a telephone legal advice service and telephone medical advice service. Through the telephone legal advice service, customers can consult a lawyer 24 hours a day and carry out administrative procedures. The telephone medical advice service is available 365 days a year and allows users to contact a health professional by phone or video call.
