Occident, the new Seguros Bilbao brand, promotes its sporting spirit with the sponsorship of the Bilbao-Bilbao Cycling Event

Occident, the new Seguros Bilbao brand, promotes its sporting spirit with the sponsorship of the new edition of the Bilbao-Bilbao Cycling Event. Thus, Occidente continues its commitment to Seguros Bilbao with sport, supporting the race for the ninth consecutive year, which this year celebrated its 34th edition.


The event, which took place yesterday, 19 March, brought together more than 6,700 sportspeople of all ages, who toured the most prominent places in Biscay, such as La Ría de Bilbao, the coast of the Cantabrian Sea, the Guggenheim Museum and the Gran Vía. Under the collaboration, Occident had a brand presence in the registration area, as well as in the advertising material delivered to attendees and on the banners at the start and the goal.


In the words of the deputy sales director of Seguros Bilbao, José Manuel Ereño, " we are very excited that Occident has been able to form part of the Bilbao-Bilbao Cycling Event, as it is our way of showing that this new brand, as well as Seguros Bilbao will continue their firm commitment to the values of achievement and effort promoted by this sports event".


Since the first race in 1988, the Bilbao-Bilbao Cycling Event has become one of the most consolidated sports events in Biscay and has three routes (85km, 115km and 125km) and varying degrees of gradients so that all sportspeople can enjoy the event.
