Occident expedite the payout to the victims of the Valencia fire

"The company has made an early payout to the twenty-some affected customers to help alleviate the financial strain on the owners of the insured property after the fire."

In order to alleviate the financial impact that the fire that occurred in the Campanar neighbourhood of Valencia has had on the owners of the properties affected by the tragedy, Occident have launched a plan that aims to expedite part of the payout, depending on the capital insured content, to the identified owners of the insured assets.

Occident will also streamline as much as possible the investigation that will determine the total amount of the compensation. This process will be conducted transparently by the specialised team of experts and adjusters assigned by the company.

It should also be noted that Occident have contacted those affected through their broker, and provided additional staffing to offer telephone assistance to their customers to resolve any type of query related to the claim and its processing; they are also offering a free medical and psychological counselling service for the affected policyholders, who can call 900 110 200.
