Occident renews its collaboration with the Association of Insurance Brokers of the Balearic Islands

"The agreement aims to consolidate the role of the insurance mediator in the region by supporting various events organised by the Association throughout the year"

Occident and the Association of Insurance Brokers of the Balearic Islands have signed a new collaboration agreement, which includes sponsorship of the Balearic Insurance Conference, as well as various promotional and training activities that will benefit mediators. The new agreement ensures that the two organisations will continue their active collaboration to promote the role of the insurance mediator in the region.

As part of this agreement, Occident will be a sponsor of the Balearic Insurance Conference, which is a noteworthy space for dialogue and coexistence among insurance sector professionals. This sponsorship deal includes the presence of Occident's branding on various promotional materials at the event and on the Sponsors panel, allowing greater visibility and presence of the company at this leading industry event.

The signing of the renewal agreement took place at the Association's offices. The event was attended by Marco Serra, Brokerage Supervision Director for the Balearic Islands - Southeastern area of Occident, and the Chairman of the Colegio de Mediadores de Seguros de Illes Balears (Association of Insurance Brokers of the Balearic Islands), Antonio Jesús Balaguer. Albert Arenas, Commercial Director of the Occident General Insurance division, highlighted that the renewal of the agreement demonstrated Occident's support for insurance mediators, who the company considers to play "an essential and indispensable role in the development of the company”. Likewise, Balaguer also pointed out that “it is important to count on a company such as Occident in the Association's panel of collaborators, and I thank Occident for its commitment to supporting professional mediation by collaborating in the different events organised by the Association”.

This collaboration agreement between the Association of Insurance Brokers of the Balearic Islands and Occident reaffirms the commitment of both entities to the professionalisation and modernisation of mediators and, consequently, of the insurance sector in the region.
