Occident and Les Nits de Barcelona join forces at the next edition of the festival in the Pedralbes Palace Gardens

Occident has become the official sponsor of Les Nits de Barcelona, the iconic festival that runs between 1 and 24 July in the Pedralbes Palace Gardens in Barcelona. Thus, Occident continues to promote music and culture in society by supporting established festivals all over Spain.

As part of the collaboration agreement, Occident will promote the event under the formula "Occident presents Les Nits de Barcelona". It will also have a presence on the various festival materials, as well as on the website and other digital formats of the event. Occident also sponsors the "Les Nits de Barcelona Secret Shows" cycle, in which a previously unannounced artist offers a performance in changing venues in Barcelona. This cycle, designed as a “gateway” to Les Nits de Barcelona, will be held on a regular basis on the last Thursday of the month.

The line-up, which is still to be extended with new acts, has attracted established national artists, such as Luz Casal, Soupa de Cabra, Vanesa Martín, Joan Dausà, Taburete, El Kanka, Mag Lari and Mikel Izal, as well as major international artists, such as ThePretenders, Juanes, Patti Smith, Rumours of Fleetwod Mac, Mika, Diana Krall, Simple Minds, Rufus Wainwright and Passenger. The festival will also promote new emerging talent, including Mr. b, Laura Capdevila, Amaia Miranda, Paula Valls, Matilda Mirana and Marïe Pratt. For the second consecutive year, attendees can also enjoy a Village space where culture and gastronomy come together.

Occident, a brand that supports music

Since its beginnings, Occident has upheld its steadfast commitment to the cultural sector through its collaboration in various music events. Occident joined the Summerfest Cerdanya festival as a title sponsor, renaming it Occident Summerfest; and in the same month it took part in the 11th edition of the White Summer Festival as a sponsor of the renowned Costa Brava event.
