Occidente shows its support for culture and music in the 11th edition of the White Summer Festival

Occident, the new brand of Seguros Catalana Occidente, becomes the sponsor of the White Summer Festival, the cultural event and night market held in the city of Palamós (Girona) from 4 to 15 August. Through this sponsorship, the new brand that encompasses the traditional business companies of GCO (Grupo Catalan Occidente) will reinforce its support for culture and music.

Under the agreement, the Occident brand image will be displayed on the main stage, where various popular acts will be performing. The new insurance brand image will also be displayed on various elements of the festival, such as on the famous, decorative straw bullets; at one of the event's photocalls, where visitors can have their photos taken; and on several banners distributed in the parking area, among other supports.

The White Summer Festival is a long-standing event on the Costa Brava, and combines music with food and drink exhibitions and family attractions. According to GCO's General Director of Traditional Business, Juan Closa, "the insurance group has always shown its support for culture and we are proud to sponsor events such as the White Summer Festival, which promotes and encourages emerging musical talent."

Occident, a brand that supports musicians 

Since the end of February, when it was announced that Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros, Seguros Bilbao and NorteHispana Seguros would merge under the new brand Occident, the insurance group has aligned the new brand of its traditional business with the sponsorship of three music festivals held over the summer. Specifically, in addition to renewing Seguros Catalana Occident's support for the White Summer Festival, the new GCO brand also sponsors Occident Summerfest, a musical event to be celebrated in Cerdanya (Girona) next August, and the Starlite Occident, the renowned boutique festival that takes place every year in Marbella (Málaga) between June and September.
