Plus Ultra Seguros improves its Community insurance

"The product has been extended with new guarantees and services, and there are more modalities aimed at it adapting to all types of buildings and homeowners' associations."

Plus Ultra Seguros has renewed its Community insurance, incorporating new guarantees that make this product more flexible and easier to adapt to the characteristics of any homeowners' association. Among the new coverage stands out the building's protection in the event of total ruin through works by third parties, rain water filtering through façades and environmental civil liability.

It also includes a unique cover on the market: a preventive service for blockages, the aim of which is to prevent blockages in the catch basins and drainpipes of buildings. With this preventive service, the company provides homeowners' associations an annual clearing service for the catch basins and traps of buildings, carried out by specialised professionals. Furthermore, an inspection will be carried with cameras to ensure proper sanitation. By means of this exclusive guarantee, Plus Ultra Seguros seeks to increase safety and improve the conservation of properties.

Within the scope of services, the insurance also includes technical advice on buildings and a property management telephone service.

New in modalities

The result of Plus Ultra Seguros' new Community insurance is a comprehensive insurance with further coverage, higher limits and greater flexibility in taking it out, as well as adapting to all types of customers. Particularly noteworthy among the improvements made is the incorporation of the claim for unpaid community fees in the basic version of legal defence.

With regard to the modalities, the new insurance policy includes different types of buildings, whether they are single-family homes or high-rise buildings, have homeowners' associations or are single property buildings, and covers private garage owners' associations. A new specific modality that covers outdoor communal areas, gardens and sports areas has been included, as when belonging to several homeowners' associations, they are better suited to a specific policy.

Plus Ultra Seguros' head of private customers, Susana Álvarez de Lara, said, "our objective is to offer a current product that adapts to the market's needs. We are convinced that this new Community insurance will be widely received by our network of brokers, who will be able to offer a new, comprehensive product to their customers."
