Seguros Bilbao renews its sponsorship of Bilbao Basket for another year

Seguros Bilbao and the basketball club Bilbao Basket have signed an agreement under which the insurance company will continue to be the club's sponsor for the 2019-2020 season. In doing so, the company reiterates its commitment to the team and its sport for the seventh year running.

The agreement was ratified at the company's head offices in an event attended by the CEO of Bilbao Basket, Predrag Savovic, and the Marketing Manager of Seguros Bilbao, Iñigo Garay, who declared: "We are very proud to be able to support a legendary team like Bilbao Basket for another year, even more so now that last season's sacrifices and hard work have borne fruit and the club is back where it deserves to be: in the Endesa League."

Savovic also thanked Seguros Bilbao for its faith in the club, stating that "this support is increasingly evident every year and is proof of the company's commitment to the city of Bilbao".

Safest Player Award

Under the agreement between the two entities, the Seguros Bilbao logo will be visible in various formats around the stadium where the club plays its home games, as well as on the team's website.

The company will also continue to support the camps organized by Bilbao Basket to promote basketball among young people. The sponsorship deal includes the presentation of the Safest Player Award, which was won last season by American centre Ben Lammers, acknowledging him as the team's most valued regular league player.
