Seguros Catalana Occidente accompanies the senior women's team of Club Balonmano Elche in their European ranking

"The sponsorship agreement is a boost for the Elche handball players to face a promising season in the European Cup."

This 2020-2021 season, Seguros Catalana Occidente are sponsoring the senior women's team of the Club Balonmano Elche, which this year will compete for the European Cup, organised by the European Handball Federation.

The agreement, signed by the commercial director of Seguros Catalana Occidente, Luis Estrella, and Juan José Ávila, manager of Club Balonmano Elche, states that the women players will wear the insurer's logo on their t-shirts during all matches, both nationally and abroad.

The alliance between the two entities also represents a new impetus for the Elche team, who was recently proclaimed runner-up in the Copa de la Reina and eventually finishing second in the League after the season ended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

"The sponsorship of Club Balonmano Elche confirms our commitment to sport and to handball in particular. In addition, the dedication, effort and sacrifice shown by the players at every match is a true reflection of how Seguros Catalana Occidente operates," stressed Estrella.
