Seguros Catalana Occidente confirms its commitment to sport and sponsors the Pont de Vilomara i Rocafort race

For the fifth year running, Seguros Catalana Occidente is sponsoring the Pont de Vilomara i Rocafort (Barcelona) race, one of the most popular sporting events in Catalonia, the fourteenth edition of which will be held on 3 November. With the renewal of this agreement, the company is reaffirming its commitment to an athletic competition with a great tradition in Catalonia.

This year, the Pont de Vilomara i Rocafort race offers participants the chance to acquire a charity running number, all proceeds being used to finance the construction of the SJD Pediatric Cancer Center at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, which will be one of the largest paediatric oncology centres in Europe.

The race has courses adapted to the different ages and abilities of runners and in this edition there are four circuits of different lengths and levels of difficulty. The children's event, aimed at children aged 5 to 9 is over 500 metres, while the junior event, for those aged 10 to 18, is over a 1500-metre course.

As a new feature this year, less experienced runners will be able to participate in a 5-kilometre race, over a varied course with 54 metres total ascent and, finally, for more experienced runners, there is a 10-kilometre event over a mixed course with 113 metres total ascent.
