Seguros Catalana Occidente ratifies its support for sport and sponsors BC MoraBanc Andorra for the fifth consecutive year

"The company thus shows its support for the basketball club and becomes an official sponsor for the 2020-2021 season"

Seguros Catalana Occidente and BC MoraBanc Andorra have renewed their collaboration agreement for the fifth year running, making the insurance company the team's official sponsor for the 2020-2021 season. With this, the company ratifies its support for basketball and the values that it represents. 

Under this partnership between the two organisations, the Seguros Catalana Occidente logo will appear on the front of the team's training shirts and will also be visible in the Poliesportiu d'Andorra sports pavilion, the team's home ground. Furthermore, on the Twitter and Instagram profiles of the @morabancandorra team, the insurance company will appear in the videos of the “La asistencia segura” (assistance assured) campaign, featuring highlights from each game.

For Eduard Fillet, director of Seguros Catalana Occidente's Andorra branch, BC MoraBanc Andorra's backing of the team reflects “Seguros Catalana Occidente's commitment to sport and to basketball in particular, and what it represents with values such as teamwork and self-improvement.” 

Fillet also pointed out that, after four consecutive seasons as team sponsors, the insurer wants to continue at the club's side for yet another year. “We believe that, at a time like the present, it is especially important to continue to support sport. We are very proud to continue to be part of this partnership.” 

BC MoraBanc Andorra's chairman, Gorka Aixàs, also thanked the bank for its decision. “Seguros Catalana Occidente's support over the last few seasons has been, and remains, fundamental for the club. Actions like this have helped us lay the foundations to consolidate our position in the ACB basketball league, in which we are now entering our seventh season."
