"Through the renewal of this agreement, the insurance company reaffirms its commitment to sport at the training level and its involvement with the city of Sant Cugat."
Seguros Catalana Occidente has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the club Unió Esportiva de Sant Cugat (UESC) with the aim of supporting it in its training actions. By updating this agreement, the insurance company becomes the club's official sponsor for the third consecutive year and reaffirms its support to various projects linked to the city of Sant Cugat (Barcelona).
This sponsorship involves the insurer's logo appearing on the jerseys of the men's senior basketball teams. The insurer's brand image will also appear in the club's main pavilion and on its social network profiles when the match fixtures for the weekend are published.
The renewed sponsorship agreement was signed at the insurance company's head offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) in an event attended by the President of Unió Esportiva Sant Cugat, Vicenç Beltrán, and Seguros Catalana Occidente's Commercial Director, Luis Estrella.
Estrella confirmed the importance of this agreement for the company, as it reaffirms "its commitment to sport at the training level and to promoting healthy lifestyles among the youth." Beltrán stated that the renewal of this agreement represents "a vital support for the club, as the agreement will help it carry out all the activities it does throughout the year."
One of these initiatives is the Torneo de Reyes (Three Wise Men tournament), a competition organised by the club with a long tradition and which, once again, will be sponsored by Seguros Catalana Occidente. This tournament, in its seventh edition, will be held on 2, 3 and 4 January 2020, and it is considered the most important in Catalonia for children in the child category (12 and 13 years) and lower categories. This edition is expected to host 60 teams and more than 600 players.
