Seguros Catalana Occidente renews and expands its sponsorship of Club Handbol Sant Cugat

Seguros Catalana Occidente and Club Handbol Sant Cugat have renewed their collaboration agreement, making the insurance company the official sponsor of the Catalan handball team for the second year running. On this occasion, the partnership between the two entities has also been expanded, as the sponsorship arrangement for the 2020-2021 season will cover the club's nineteen training courses, both for the senior teams and for the junior categories.

With this action, Seguros Catalana Occidente reaffirms its commitment to sports and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. In this regard, the company is committed to supporting sport and defends the values that it represents, which in the case of handball include teamwork and the spirit of self-improvement.

As a result of the agreement signed between the two entities, the insurer's logo will appear on the kit of all categories of both the men's and the women's sections of the club - veterans, senior, youth, cadet and children - with a total of nineteen teams and nearly 300 players. In addition, the company's brand image will remain visible for another season on the club's website and in its communications.

The president of Club Handbol Sant Cugat, Julià López-Arenas, and Seguros Catalana Occidente's head of sales, Carlos de Abadal, led the signing of the agreement. At the meeting, Julià López-Arenas stated that "the expansion of the collaboration agreement with Seguros Catalana Occidente is invaluable for Club Handbol Sant Cugat. We are extremely satisfied with the trust placed in us, not only renewing the agreement, but also expanding it to cover the teams at the club's base." 

From Seguros Catalana Occidente, Carlos de Abadal highlighted the importance of this agreement for the company, as it ratifies "its commitment to all categories of sport, promoting healthy lifestyle habits among all ages of the population." By updating this agreement, the insurance company also reaffirms its support for various projects linked to the town of Sant Cugat (Barcelona).
